The 90° Male Elbow (SAE/MS – Adjustable) is a high-performance instrumentation fitting designed to provide a secure 90-degree transition between tubing and a female SAE/MS straight-thread port. Unlike standard pipe threads, this fitting features an adjustable design with a locknut and an O-ring, allowing the user to orient the elbow in the exact direction required before tightening the connection. This “positionable” feature is critical for creating clean, organized layouts in tight spaces without over-tightening or compromising the seal. Typically manufactured from 316 stainless steel or carbon steel, these elbows utilize a double-ferrule compression system on the tube side to ensure a leak-proof, high-pressure connection, making them a standard choice for hydraulic systems and high-precision fluid power applications.
